We are busily wrapping up loose ends before the end of the year -- halls decked with greens and twinkle lights, gifts in brown boxes under the tree, dreams of the year ahead filling our home.
Christmas is just under three weeks away, and it always makes me anxious to think about taking down the decorations and putting away the holiday movies and records. For now though, it's endless cups of candy cane tea, holiday playlists on repeat in my office, our old tree with a hand-me-down skirt, preparing our hearts for Christmas.
