Christmas -- a busy house, a new puppy, trays of cheese and shrimp and my father's chicken salad. We had eighteen for dinner, and sat up late into the night drinking wine and laughing over the stories we've told a hundred times over. It was the first Christmas I've spent with my grandmother in a decade, at least. I spent a bit of time behind my camera, snapping photos and mostly wondering about this time next year, just as I had a year back.
