September was chaos -- seeming like an eternity and a single day all at once. The school year's arrived and the days have grown shorter. There's so much to be said for this work we do, for putting oxygen masks on first, etc. Still, I've found myself in constant conflict -- striving to do my best work and tackle what seems to be a bottomless to-do list and inbox, all the while trying to carve out time and space for things that bring more joy. I've started to realize the importance of setting boundaries, of fearlessly pursuing what matters most without apology.
