And just like that, we're back to school.
School tomorrow, Bobo -- an oft-sung reminder in our house, echoed from his earliest days, a different sort of Sunday hymn.
This week was for earlier bedtimes for him, later ones for me, and each of us waking before the sun. We sat together at half past five one morning, armed with laptops and coffee and mused about what it must be like to work outside of education. We lay on the kitchen floor one evening, nearly defeated -- happy at least to have a comrade in arms.
