It's the first day of spring, if only on the calendar. I've been craving the change of seasons, especially since the weather has taken a cold turn and we're due for more snow this week. I'm eager to pack our winter coats and boots away, to leave the windows open and listen to the nesting birds in our backyard, to sit outside with a glass of wine at the end of the week.
A springtime to-do list:
/ plan and plant our tiny garden
/ plan a summer weekend away, just us two
/ host a brunch at our house
/ celebrate his graduation
/ travel to Chicago for work
/ annual girls weekend with my mama, aunt and littlest cousins in Raleigh
/ spend a day reading on the beach, before the summer crowds
/ make some ice cream, finally
