Away we went, to the sea for the quickest of getaways and the last bit of birthday magic. We drove to Asbury Park for tacos and margaritas and a trip to the local distillery. We ended the evening with one last drink, tucked in the corner of a French restaurant with live jazz. In the morning, we took our coffee to the boardwalk in the freezing sunshine before heading back home.
