octobering

We spent the weekend doing October things.  My mama came up north and stayed with us.  The sun has been setting much earlier than I'd like, but I'm so glad to see autumn again.

/ wine & cheese with coworkers to celebrate the end of a wild week
/ brunch with my brother
/ pizza and chatting all night with my mama
/ post-church walks through Princeton
/ a study date over cider (me) and espresso (him) on Sunday afternoon
/ celebrating our friends' first wedding anniversary with drinks at Triumph
/ roasting squash and potatoes for this week's (late) dinners
