These first eleven months of marriage have been humbling and happy. Starting a new job, moving to a new home, surviving tennis season and a very busy August. Him -- working furiously to finish up the last of his graduate courses, and me -- just barely keeping up with double workloads and making sure we had lunches to eat.
All this to say, I'm especially grateful for a husband who is sweet enough to insist that we toast with champagne on the fifth of each month. Even if it is at ten o'clock, after we're both finally home from full days of work and learning.
